Pete Christman Consulting LLC, which operates Gunning Point Growth ("Gunning Point Growth," "we," "us," or "our"), runs gunningpointgrowth.com (the "site") and provides growth marketing consulting services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address, and anything you include in your message. The site has no forms or user accounts.
- Technical information. When you visit the site, our hosting and content providers automatically process standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you request.
- Client account data. When a client hires us, they may give us authorized access to their advertising, analytics, or other business accounts, including through platform APIs such as the Google Ads API and Meta's Marketing API. We access this data only with the account owner's permission.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to inquiries and discuss potential engagements;
- provide, manage, and report on services for our clients;
- operate, secure, and improve the site; and
- comply with legal obligations.
Google user data and API services
If a client authorizes us to access their Google accounts (for example, Google Ads), we use that data only to provide the services the client has asked for, such as managing, analyzing, and reporting on their advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others except as needed to provide the services, comply with the law, or with the client's permission.
Meta platform data
If a client connects our apps to their Meta business assets (for example, Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, or ad accounts), we may receive data such as ad account settings, campaign and ad performance metrics, ad creative, and Page or Instagram account insights. We use this data only to provide the services the client has asked for, such as managing, analyzing, and reporting on their marketing. We process it in line with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with others except as needed to provide the services, comply with the law, or with the client's permission.
Data deletion requests
You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you, including data received through Google or Meta platforms, at any time:
- Email privacy@gunningpointgrowth.com with the subject line "Data deletion request," and include the name and account (for example, the Facebook Page or ad account) the request covers.
- You can also remove our app's access at any time in your Facebook or Google account settings (for Facebook: Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations or Apps and websites).
We will confirm your request and delete the data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only:
- with service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting (Cloudflare), font delivery (Google Fonts), and email;
- with advertising and analytics platforms, when needed to deliver client services;
- when required by law or to protect our rights; and
- with your permission.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology to protect the site from abuse. If we add analytics or other tracking in the future, we will update this policy first.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, and then delete it. Client account access ends when an engagement ends or when the client revokes it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email privacy@gunningpointgrowth.com (see Data deletion requests above). We will respond within the time the law requires.
Third-party links
The site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
Children's privacy
The site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
